- ➤ Tickets are on sale for Catholic Charities’ annual Mardi Gras fundraiser Saturday, Jan. 31 at River’s Edge Convention Center at 5:00 p.m. The event offers a gourmet dinner by Custom Catering by Short Stop, a silent auction, and live music to benefit emergency services and transitional housing (tickets are limited). - ➤ During the 2025 deer hunting season, state officials reported a 9% increase in harvest with 186,203 deer taken and an 8% boost in central plus southeastern Minnesota compared to last year. The DNR is asking hunters to fill out its online questionnaire to share feedback. WJON

- ➤ On Tuesday, the St. Cloud Economic Development Authority closed the TIF district for Microbiologics as a second expansion boosted taxes to repay the $250,000 investment; rising tax revenue will now help fund regular city services. KNSI

- ➤ The St. Cloud VA Medical Center launched a network of programs addressing veteran homelessness by providing mental health and addiction support; seven clinicians and a dedicated social worker help veterans secure stable housing.
