- ➤ The annual Stearns County Polar Plunge will take place Saturday, Feb. 21 at noon at Avon Beach (next to Fisher’s Club) where participants will dip in Middle Spunk Lake to raise funds for Special Olympics Minnesota athletes. The event has raised $25,000 toward an $85,000 goal. KNSI
- ➤ Stearns History Museum will host free Fix-It Clinics on Friday, March 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Rocori Senior Center and on Friday, May 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Handyman’s Hardware in St. Cloud, where skilled volunteers will mend items to help save money + reduce waste. WJON
