- ➤ The Regency Venue in downtown Saint Cloud is set to host the Central Minnesota Bloody Mary and Margarita Festival on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with local vendors competing and offering unlimited samples (featuring North Star Vodka for Bloody Marys) at a ticketed event. WJON

- ➤ Two local educators, Devon Bowker (Apollo High School) and Paige Janorschke (Lincoln Elementary), are semifinalists for Minnesota Teacher of the Year; an independent panel will review portfolios from 30 candidates in mid-March before choosing 10 finalists and announcing the winner at a May 3 banquet. - ➤ St. Cloud’s LEAF 742 has launched 'Thanks a Latte' to honor school staff during Random Acts of Kindness Week by asking donors to contribute $20 (which includes a $10 gift card from Scooters) by Feb. 20. WJON
- ➤ St. Cloud teachers union tentatively agreed on a two-year contract that raises salaries and increases health benefits; the union will vote on Feb. 26 + the school board will review the deal on March 11. WJON
- ➤ The Central Minnesota Community Foundation announced the Hallie Marie Women in IT Scholarship Fund to honor Hallie Tobler — a 22-year-old City of St. Cloud IT employee who died earlier this month. The fund will support women pursuing IT degrees and careers. St. Cloud Times

Northland Bible Baptist Church will be hosting their annual Wild Game Dinner on Saturday, March 14th, at noon. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are only $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 3-7.
