COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Stefan's Dream defended its title at KVSC's 47th Annual Trivia Marathon this past weekend by scoring 13,630 points in a 50-hour contest in St. Cloud, beating the runner-up by nearly 600 points (volunteers answered almost 50,000 calls).  WJON
  • After a year of exploration, the Rainbow Bridge Memorial Garden has settled at Heritage Park, with construction starting this spring. The garden will feature a painted bridge — showcasing rainbow colors and paw prints — a Kids’ Corner and spaces for visitors to honor their pets.  KNSI

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Cathedral High School will stage 'Little Shop of Horrors' this weekend, featuring a student cast and Wes Schneider’s hand-crafted plant props, with his son playing Seymour. Shows are scheduled on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 7pm, Friday, Feb. 20 at 7pm and Saturday, Feb. 21 at 2pm and 7pm.  WJON

SPORTS NEWS

  • St. Cloud State wrestling team clinched its third straight NSIC title with a 25-15 win over Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday afternoon at home — wins by Jesuroga and Glazier improved the team to 10-0 in conference bouts, setting them up for the Super Region V Championships on Feb. 28 in Marshall.  WJON
