ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • The Minnesota DNR is asking locals to apply for a 2026 advisory council that will shape environmental projects and review program policies. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on April 10 (with priority for Native and community of color experts).  WJON

SPORTS NEWS

  • The St. Cloud State Huskies beat the Northern State Wolves in two games on Thursday, Feb. 26 at USA Bank Stadium. The team out-hit the opponent and relied on strong pitching to secure both wins.  WJON
  • Micah Davis led the St. Cloud Crush at the state high school swimming championships preliminaries on Friday, posting tops in the 100 Butterfly and 200 Individual Medley — recording 48.23 seconds and 1:49.80 — to set a strong pace for his team. The championships continue on Saturday with diving events.  WJON
