- ➤ Schmidty's Soda Shop opened its second location in Crossroads Center on Sunday, offering custom sodas plus drinks like The Schmidty and The Coast, and it operates Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. WJON
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Over 200 robotics teams competed in the Minnesota State VEX Robotics Championship at River's Edge Convention Center this past weekend. Students from elementary to college built and programmed robots to score points and win a chance to join the World Championship in St. Louis, scheduled for April 21 to 30. WJON
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ St. Cloud State Huskies earned the #4 seed in the Central Region and will meet #5-seeded Missouri Western on Saturday in the NCAA Division II National Tournament. They finished with a 25-6 record, including an 18-game win streak at home, marking their first tournament appearance since 2019. WJON
- ➤ St. Cloud State Wrestling is ranked fifth nationally and features five wrestlers with top placements ahead of the NCAA Tournament (Mar. 13-14) in Sioux Falls. Two team members advanced from regionals, boosting the Huskies’ lineup for the competition. WJON
- ➤ Prep sports results from Saturday showed tight contests as St. Cloud Cathedral lost 6-3 to Mankato West in the Boys' State Hockey Tournament and teams earned overtime wins in Class A and 2A championships — local boys' basketball games were recorded. WJON
- ➤ St. Ben's hockey clinched its NCAA tournament spot for the first time in 29 years with a 2-1 win over Gustavus Saturday in the MIAC championship; they will learn their tournament assignment Sunday night. WJON
- ➤ St. Cloud State's swimming and diving teams will head to Evansville for the NCAA Division-II Championships from Tuesday, Mar. 10 to Saturday, Mar. 14. The 12 athletes, including junior Lance Godard, will compete in 21 events as they aim to build on last year’s strong finish. WJON

Northland Bible Baptist Church will be hosting their annual Wild Game Dinner on Saturday, March 14th, at noon. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are only $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 3-7.
