COMMUNITY NEWS
- ➤ Several local events are taking place this weekend including the K-Pop Bangtan Bash in St. Paul, live music at Pioneer Place and a free craft show at Crossroads Center with over 50 vendors—plus home, community and reggae shows for a variety of interests. WJON
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Little River Band will perform at The Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park on Saturday, June 6. Tickets are on presale today (10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.) with code RIVERLEDGE and will be available to the public on March 13 at 10:00 a.m. KNSI
- ➤ The Beo String Quartet will perform on March 20 at Paramount Center for the Arts in St. Cloud with a mix of classical, modern and original music (tickets cost $25 to $28 for adults and $10 for students, available online or by calling 320-259-5463). KNSI
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Registration opens March 20 for the DNR's I Can! outdoor skills programs, offering free or low-cost instruction in archery, camping, fishing, paddling and mountain biking for beginners and families at local state parks & recreation areas. KNSI
- ➤ Kings Academy is renovating the former Crafts Direct building in Waite Park to create a refreshed campus for preschool through high school with double classrooms, a full-size gym, and outdoor learning spaces (tours begin in July). WJON
- ➤ The ROCORI School Board approved a $900,000 cut from next year's budget while keeping student programs intact. Superintendent Kevin Enerson said retirements (six) eased the decision, and updates at John Clark Elementary and other facilities are planned with the final budget to be approved in June. WJON
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Sauk Centre girls basketball team, led by new head coach Maesyn Theisen, is set to face Duluth Marshall in a state quarterfinal today at 6 p.m. in Minneapolis, riding an eight-game win streak and a 23-6 season record. WJON
- ➤ The Cathedral Crusaders faced the Albany Huskies last night in the Section 6AA semifinals at St. John's University. The Melrose Dutchmen will meet Annandale at 8 p.m. tonight with the championship set for Friday at St. Cloud State University. WJON

Wild Game Dinner
Northland Bible Baptist Church will be hosting their annual Wild Game Dinner on Saturday, March 14th, at noon. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are only $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 3-7.
