CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Erik Edgren, an aerobatic pilot, will perform his unique routine on his modified 1939 Taylorcraft (T-Clips) at the North Star Air Show. The event takes place Aug. 1-2 at Sky Central Airport and promises engaging precision maneuvers and comedy for local fans. KNSI
- ➤ AJAX Productions hosts a local open mic at Keller Bar this Saturday night, featuring hip hop and other genres to connect community artists. The event starts at 9:00 p.m., costs $5.00, and is a 21+ event. WJON

- ➤ The Minnesota DNR invites families to join the statewide FrogWatch program to record frog and toad calls this spring and summer (online trainings are set for March 23, 25, and 28, and surveys run through mid-August). WJON
- ➤ The St. Cloud Area School District was awarded a grant (worth $836,000) to improve its cardiac emergency plans after a Monday announcement from the Minnesota Department of Education. The funds will support training and planning in the upcoming school year. KNSI

- ➤ City officials in St. Cloud remind property owners to clear accumulated snow and ice from sidewalks within 24 hours after snowfall to avoid fees starting at $160. Corner lot owners (with added responsibilities) must also clear curb cuts and crosswalks to keep paths safe for pedestrians. KNSI
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Endurance runner Noah Coughlan, attempting to cross all 50 states on foot, passed through St. Cloud Monday on a 30-mile stretch from Princeton — he has already run nearly half of his 5,500-mile journey and will finish his trek in Hawaii on July 4. KNSI
- ➤ St. Cloud State's basketball players Wyatt Hawks, a junior, and Luke Winkel, a sophomore, earned second-team All-Region honors this season. Hawks averaged 12.2 points while Winkel led with 18.7 points, and their season ended after a 61-55 tournament loss to Minnesota Duluth in Topeka, Kansas last Sunday. WJON
