  • Bill Ellis will be honored with a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Mar. 25 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids - burial will follow at Trintiy Lutheran Cemetery.  WJON
  • Patrick, a one-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix, is looking for a forever home at Tri-County Humane Society in St. Cloud. Visitors can call (320-252-0896) or stop by during business hours (noon to 6 p.m. on weekdays, noon to 5 p.m. on weekends) to meet him.  WJON

  • House of Pizza returned to Sartell by opening inside Coborns on Pine Cone Road + customers flocked in Wednesday night to try their familiar pies after nearly two years of absence.  WJON

CULTURE NEWS

  • The Paramount Center for the Arts hosts the 2nd Annual Battle of the Bands on Wednesday, April 1, where six Central Minnesota bands under 20 perform original music to try for studio time. Project 37 + Interact of St. Cloud Crush + St. Cloud Subaru support the event celebrating youth talent.  WJON
  • Anton’s in Waite Park serves hearty popovers, steaks and seafood with a cozy ambiance along the Sauk River. The local restaurant is celebrated for its quality cuisine and vintage charm.  WJON

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Boys & Girls Club of Central Minnesota will host its 2026 Spring Showcase, themed Spectrum, The Power of Us on Mar. 25 at the Paramount Center for the Arts. Over 200 artworks and live performances from youth artists, including a special American Sign Language interpretation, will highlight their creativity.  KNSI

  • CentraCare will open a new High-Risk Breast Clinic at Coborn Cancer Center in April to offer patients personalized breast cancer risk assessments, tailored prevention plans, and coordinated care from a team of specialists in oncology, genetics, surgery, and radiology.  WJON
