- ➤ St. Cloud firefighters rescued residents from an apartment fire on the 3100 block of Maine Prairie Road just after 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, leaving about 50 displaced and relying on emergency shelter from the Red Cross (working with St. Katharine Drexel School) while the cause is under investigation. - ➤ Union members at the AMPI dairy facility in Paynesville began striking today after nearly a year of stalled contract talks, seeking better wages + job protections including improved health care and job security if the facility is sold. WJON

- ➤ LEAF 742 raised $100,000 to remove middle school activity fees so 6th-8th graders can join sports and clubs with no cost for the 2026-2027 school year, boosting participation and community engagement in St. Cloud. WJON

- ➤ St. Cloud will receive a mobile AirSCWO system at its Nutrient Energy Water Recovery Facility this spring to test a method for breaking down PFAS.
