- ➤ A visitation honoring Jennifer Marsaw and her son Marzai Dawson will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Mar. 25 at Benson Funeral Home, following their tragic deaths. WJON
- ➤ Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud will host its 16th annual Pack the Porches drive this Friday at three local drop-off sites including Pioneer Place, Hyundai location in Waite Park, and Financial Credit Union in Sartell — Pioneer Place starts at 6:00 a.m. while others open at 7:00 a.m. KNSI
- ➤ Benedict M. Narloch, 87, a lifelong community pillar and veteran who worked at local clubs, died Saturday, March 21. His Mass of Christian Burial is set for Saturday, March 28 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church + interment will follow at Morningside Memorial Gardens. WJON
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ An apartment fire on Saturday, Mar. 21 at the 2100 block of Maine Prairie Road displaced 50 residents in St. Cloud; first responders rescued those on the second and third floors + the Red Cross provided emergency shelter while no injuries were reported. St. Cloud Times
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ LEAF raised $100,000 from 60 donors to cover middle school activity fees so all District 742 sixth- through eighth-graders will join athletics and activities for the 2026-27 school year. KNSI
- ➤ St. Cloud Technical & Community College is hosting two open houses to help prospective students learn about different academic programs. On March 25 at the main campus, visitors can explore skilled trades, business, IT, and more, while on March 31 the Health Sciences Building highlights nursing and health programs (both events run from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. and are free). - ➤ Sartell-St. Stephen Schools cut $1 million from their 2026-2027 budget due to rising costs and declining enrollment, said Superintendent Michael Rivard, as the district strives to protect core instruction and maintain long-term financial stability (a strategic measure to avoid larger problems later). - ➤ St. Cloud brings summer fun with a Rox game at Joe Faber Field on May 29 and the Benton County Fair (July 29–Aug. 3) among events including concerts, parades, splash pads, and disc golf courses at local parks and gardens to keep families busy through the season. WJON

- ➤ Minnesota Vikings players Adam Thielen and C.J. Ham retired after long careers with the team. Thielen played in 146 games and Ham earned two Pro Bowl spots, leaving a legacy of grit and faith that many local fans will remember. WJON
