  • Xcel Energy reminds residents ready for gardening to call 811 or contact Gopher State One Call at least two business days before digging so that underground utility lines—electric, gas, water, and cable—are marked safely.   • As warmer weather arrives, experts predict a surge in ticks & mosquitoes and advise residents to use bug spray and wear light clothing when spending time outdoors. Health specialists note that nymph ticks in late spring may carry Lyme disease and stress staying cautious.  WJON
