- ➤ Tri County Humane Society received 2,000 lbs of cat food after calling for donations to support its free Pet Food Pantry for local families. - ➤ Mark Sakry, longtime leader of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota and former county commissioner, died Sunday morning at age 73. - ➤ The 2026 Minnesota Moms Fishing Challenge opens for moms on Saturday, May 9 to Sunday, May 10, letting them fish license-free and enter a photo contest for prizes.
