TCHS is partnering with the city to offer a pet microchip clinic on Tuesday, May 19 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at City Hall — 1201 7th Street South — where owners can microchip their pets for $10 plus tax.

The cold May temperatures have kept lake waters in central Minnesota in the 40s, making Memorial Day weekend swimming unsafe, state climatologist Pete Boulay said.

Residents heading to cabins or resorts are advised to bring rain gear and exercise caution (even if the air feels warm above).

High school baseball games this week showcased standout performances — local teams including the Flyers, Huskies and Crush posted wins with key plays in matchups on May 13th and 14th.
