- ➤ The Stearns History Museum will host a free community discussion on racial covenants this Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Attendees can watch a local docuseries and join a hands-on transcription session led by Mapping Prejudice experts — bring a laptop. WJON
- ➤ Several hundred gathered Monday morning at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System for its Memorial Day service to honor veterans. The program included wreath-laying, a rifle squad salute, and the reading of 'In Flanders Fields,' with city leaders and keynote speaker Reverend Raul Muniz paying tribute. WJON

- ➤ The Paramount Center for the Arts in downtown St. Cloud has announced a summer series of classic films including E.T.—June 11, The Parent Trap—July 14 and Goonies—August 17 at 7:00 p.m.; tickets cost $5 and summer art camps for kids ages 7–14 remain open. WJON

- ➤ A poll by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce shows Minnesotans feel growing financial stress; 67% say state taxes are too high and 47% report worsening finances (survey of 1,000 adults conducted March 20-Apr. 2). The Chamber calls for policy changes to restore affordability and boost the state’s economy. St. Cloud Times

- ➤ LEAF 742 honored community partners at its annual Celebration and Awards event held this spring at the St. Cloud Country Club. The event recognized award winners for volunteer service, charitable giving, coaching, instructional excellence, lifetime service & distinguished alumni. KNSI
- ➤ Two Tech High School students from St. Cloud will represent Minnesota at America’s Youth AI Festival in Boston & Cambridge, July 17-19 as part of the 250th anniversary celebration. They join educators in a new AASA fellowship helping shape a national AI policy for public schools. KNSI

- ➤ On Sunday, May 24, the Buckman Billygoats beat the Avon Lakers 12-7 as Matt Tautges pitched seven strong innings. Key hits from players like Matt Kummet helped the team secure the win. WJON
