- ➤ Rocky, an 8-year-old mixed breed dog, is looking for a new family at Tri-County Humane Society at 735 8th Street NE. Visit his kennel or call 320-252-0896 during business hours to put a hold on him for adoption. WJON
- ➤ Pine Grove Zoo in Little Falls invites families to try the ZooPer Escape summer experience starting May 29 when teams of 2 to 8 solve puzzles with three themed options. Admission costs $20 (reduced to $15 for members) and bookings can be made by calling the zoo. WJON
- ➤ The St. Cloud Diocese is set to merge or close over 30 churches as Catholic attendance drops to 23% and the number of parishioners falls to under 110,000; church officials said the process (next 2-5 years) comes as young minister numbers decline sharply. WJON
- ➤ St. Cloud Pride will host events in June including Senior Pride Bingo & Brunch on Thursday, June 4 at Whitney Senior Center and Summer Fun Fest on Sunday, June 7 at Lake George/Eastman Park; a Pride drag show set for Saturday, June 6 at B-Side Indie Music Cafe for $10. WJON

- ➤ Xcel Energy filed a settlement with state regulators on Tuesday that would lower the natural gas rate increase for customers in St. Cloud and central Minnesota to 4.88% overall and 4.1% for residences. If approved, refunds will go to those who paid a 6.8% interim increase since January. KNSI

- ➤ Great River Regional Library has added 24 Nintendo Switch games (including Animal Crossing, Super Mario Party, and Luigi’s Mansion) to its collection to boost digital literacy among local gamers. The library may add more titles across different platforms soon. KNSI

- ➤ Drivers on I-94 face single-lane, head-to-head traffic as MnDOT repairs four bridges over the Sauk River — work will continue through late October 2026. WJON
- ➤ Lori Naumann, a longtime DNR employee and creator of the EagleCam who also worked on the FalconCam, passed away unexpectedly after nearly 40 years of service in Minnesota. Her work boosted wildlife conservation statewide. WJON
- ➤ After the bonding bill passed on May 17, lawmakers allocated $15 million to replace lead pipes statewide, far below the $100 million requested. Advocates say the limited funds may slow critical water upgrades in areas like St. Cloud and call for dedicated future funding. St. Cloud Times
