- ➤ Scheels Sports hosted its 2nd annual Human Foosball Tournament and 4th annual Grill Fest on Friday in its parking lot to raise funds for the United Way Kids Summer Hunger Program; 16 teams competed from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and spectators sampled food and grilling product demos — a key effort to support summer meals for local kids. - ➤ On New Year's Eve 1961, the Persian Club opened in St. Cloud and became a beloved supper club known for warm hospitality and great food. By 1997 it transitioned to other uses after owner Al Kirmeier retired in 1995—leaving cherished memories for many locals. WJON
