- ➤ A crash in Foley on Saturday morning at about 7:00 a.m. on Highway 23 and Highway 25 involved an SUV and a car that left a 17-year-old passenger injured and sent to the St. Cloud Hospital — the drivers were unharmed. WJON

- ➤ State and national lawmakers expressed grief after a shooting that killed former Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark (the incident happened Saturday morning) and injured Senator John Hoffman (his wife also was treated in a Twin Cities hospital) as St. Cloud police worked to secure the area. - ➤ St. Cloud Police Chief Jeff Oxton emailed residents to trust the department’s marked vehicles and licensed officers after a suspect—impersonating an officer—shot Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, and a manhunt for the suspect continues. KNSI
