ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Saturday afternoon around 12:30 p.m., a motorcycle crash on Highway 10 in St. Cloud sent riders Mark Ward and Shaun Plotnik to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries — the incident occurred when their motorcycles collided with a car driven by Corey Gilbertson of Stewartville — while Gilbertson was unharmed. - ➤ St. Joseph’s Joetown Rocks Parish Festival will begin Thursday, July 3 at 5:00 p.m. with bingo, games, and food before live music starts at 6:15 p.m. and fireworks light up the night at 10:15 p.m.—Friday features a parade at 10:00 a.m. with additional games, refreshments, and a record of family traditions since 2006 that attracts over 15,000 people. - ➤ Sherburne County introduced its first therapy dog—Peach—to support mental health services for county employees and community members, and Peach is undergoing specialized training with nonprofit Soldiers 6 to help those facing stress and trauma. KNSI

- ➤ The St. Cloud Rox rallied from an early deficit to beat the Minot Hot Tots 16—6 on Saturday with Jaixen Frost’s home run tying the game before a strong ninth inning put them in control. Aiden Lieser earned the win as the team set the stage for the next games in their four-game series. WJON
- ➤ Over 50 teams competed in the Summer Classic Baseball and Softball Tournament held last weekend at Rivers Edge Park in Waite Park—volunteers organized the event and took extra safety measures in the high heat while crowning champions in both sports. WJON
