- ➤ St. Cloud will host its 79th annual fireworks show at Wilson Park on July 4th, with food vendors, live music starting at noon, and a 21-gun salute near 9:45 p.m. Fireworks are set to begin at 10:00 p.m. and last 25 minutes—this volunteer-run event costs about $70,000. WJON
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Sunday night at about 9:30 p.m., a single-vehicle accident on Highway 10 near Little Falls injured Martin Olson and Matthew Hull from St. Cloud—Olson was taken to St. Gabriel's Hospital with unknown injuries and Hull sustained non-life-threatening injuries while another passenger from Littles Falls was unharmed. - ➤ St. Joseph’s Church festival begins on Thursday, July 3 at 5:00 p.m. with a food and games booth, live music starting at 9:00 p.m. featuring guest acts and fireworks at 10:15 p.m.; Friday holds a parade at 10:00 a.m., a quilt auction at 1:00 p.m., a raffle at 3:00 p.m.—the event also brings back a 100-year-old merry-go-round for children. - ➤ Minnesota native Shannon Kelly has been named General Manager of U.S. Bank Stadium after four years as Director of Events and will lead daily operations at the facility. John Drum, who managed the stadium since 2020, will take on a broader role to oversee six NFL venues + his prior experience supports the shift. WJON
- ➤ On Saturday, the St. Cloud Rox beat the Bismarck Larks 6-3 at Joe Faber Field—Dykhoff hit a three-run homer that helped build the lead while three relievers combined for five shutout innings. Aiden Lieser earned the win and Brandon Jaenke recorded his 8th save in the game. WJON
