Fundraising efforts include a July 21 dinner at Pizza Ranch in Waite Park from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.+a special edition coffee roast from Kinder Coffee Lab and pet photography sessions for $75 each will help raise the necessary funds+. - ➤ The pawn shop known for its pawned wooden leg announced it will close when owners Martin and Joanne Fulayter retire as their lease ends on October 1; the business began in 1985 and moved to its current spot at West St Germain Street and 7th Avenue South in 1996—while the final fate of the wooden leg remains unknown. - ➤ Impacks is a St. Cloud startup that offers customized school supply kits designed to meet teachers’ lists—helping ease the rising cost and stress of back-to-school shopping for families. - ➤ The owner of Sunny Mary Meadow flower farm in St. Wendel Township sent a letter of complaint to county officials last week demanding an apology from Commissioner Joe Perske for remarks made about a planned expansion at the u‑pick facility—remarks that the owner said spurred neighbor harassment. County Administrator Mike Williams said the letter has been shared with the board and legal teams but is not expected to lead to a lawsuit. KNSI

- ➤ The FDA issued a recall in mid-June for Vita Warehouse Corporation’s Vitamin B12 gummies sold under several names — such as Aldi Welby Vitamin B12 — because they may contain an undeclared peanut allergen that could trigger a serious reaction.
