- ➤ A St. Cloud man is accused of drugging and assaulting women while they were unconscious—videos show he used GHB—and he is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a pre-trial hearing set for August 13. KNSI
- ➤ Stearns County prosecutors charged 25-year-old Marquis Fisher with two counts of 2nd-degree murder and one count of 2nd-degree assault—he is accused of fatally stabbing 36-year-old Shane Brunner during a fight at a home on the 600 block of 12th Avenue North on March 13, and his trial began this week with jury selection set for Tuesday. The council also ended cannabis licensing, approved converting the old Persian Club into a church home for 400 members—while tabled Legacy Auto Sales’ expansion plans until cleanup concerns are resolved. - ➤ Temporary lane closures on Veterans Drive in St. Cloud will remain until Saturday due to utility work between 27th and 29th Avenues—contractors are working to complete repairs soon while drivers face one lane in each direction and slow traffic.
