- ➤ St. Cloud police were on scene in the 400 block of 19 1/2 Avenue North starting about 10:00 a.m. Sunday—officers used a bloodhound to search the area and no official statement was released. WJON
- ➤ St. Cloud Police responded to a call at 9:40 a.m. at the 400 block of 19th 1/2 Avenue North where a woman was stabbed and taken to the hospital in critical condition — officers said the victim and suspect knew each other, and the suspect remains at large. WJON

- ➤ Edita Forcier of Panda Palace has served Asian dishes at the Minnesota State Fair for over a decade—her husband Randy has run midway rides for 18 years to keep the family tradition alive. WJON
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ At the Minnesota State Amateur Baseball Tournament on August 30th, the Hanska Lakers edged the Farming Flames, the Nisswa Lightning beat the Cold Spring Springers, the New Ulm Brewers defeated the Foley Lumberjacks, and the Lesueur Braves overcame the Regal Eagles to advance to the state semifinals.
