At a Wednesday night meeting, the school board reviewed plans for Apollo High School upgrades that include a new safe entrance, storm shelter, updated science labs, fine arts spaces, and a multipurpose athletic complex with a turf field and walking track—funded by a $50 million vote for the school and $15 million for the athletic facility. Voters approved the funding earlier this year, and the board will move forward with the updated design process.
