- ➤ Marketplace Mall will host a 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat event on October 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. organized by Pet Supplies Plus where families can meet rescue animals, collect candy, and pick up maps at Pizza Ranch—the first 75 kids will receive a free buffet coupon—while booths from local businesses offer added treats and fun activities such as a bounce house and balloon art. REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Data from Realtor.com showed that in July the median home sale price in Stearns County increased to $299,900—up 3.7% from June and 6% from last July—while overall sales dropped 12.6% to 201; single-family homes drove the rise even as condo and townhome prices fell sharply. St. Cloud Times

- ➤ On October 10th, high school football teams in the St. Cloud area played 16 games—Bemidji beat Sartell 42—19 with a 96—yard kickoff return by Johnny Manion and Holdingford won 61—8 over St. Cloud Apollo when DeAnthony Sells threw a 45—yard touchdown pass. WJON
- ➤ A high school football preview showed that ROCORI defeated Fergus Falls by 34 to 12 on Friday, October 10 and Holdingford kept its unbeaten streak with a 61 to 26 win over Melrose—teams now face key week seven games ahead of playoff football. Other matchups will decide playoff spots as local schools work to improve their records. WJON
