- ➤ The Initiative Foundation awarded over $250,000 in grants through the Otto Bremer Trust’s Community Responsive Fund to nonprofits in Central Minnesota—supporting programs in literacy, health, and mental well-being. St. Cloud groups such as the Boys & Girls Clubs, CAIRO, Reach Up, the Center for Victims of Torture, and the United Way received grants between $5,000 and $75,000—while ConnectAbility in Waite Park got $11,000. - ➤ The Minnesota Department of Human Services suspended the license for 24hrs Homecare LLC at 2719 West Division Street, Suite 111 in St. Cloud on October 9 after a letter cited a controlling individual’s alleged fraud linked to Medicaid as investigators probe five companies for similar offenses.
