- ➤ Kwik Trip announced its new Maple Plain store will open on Dec 11 at 5 a.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony—scheduled for Dec 16 at 10 a.m.—will include an open house from 9 to 11 a.m. and the 9,200-square-foot store is expected to hire 40 to 50 workers. St. Cloud Times
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Over the weekend, 120 tattoo artists and about 1,000 fans gathered at Rivers Edge Convention Center for Granite City Ink Fest, which featured live tattooing, piercings, art, and entertainment. Promoter David Nelson said the festival hosted the King Ink contest—where artists merged two design ideas into one piece—and it ended Sunday with a $10 admission fee. WJON

- ➤ CentraCare has named Frank Lococo as its new VP, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer who will start on December 8; he brings nearly 30 years of marketing experience and previously led marketing at Nebraska Medicine—experience he will use to enhance communications across its health systems. - ➤ A new adult day center was approved on Oct. 21 in St. Cloud — the New American Adult Center will be at 30 25th Ave. S to serve 51 adults and seniors by offering social activities, health monitoring, and medication assistance from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. St. Cloud Times

- ➤ Local high school football scores from Saturday, October 25th showed decisive wins as St. Cloud Cathedral—led by Henry Schloe’s 4 touchdown passes—beat Redwood Valley 49–27 and Albany won 41–0 over New London-Spicer. Holdingford overcame Staples-Motley 41–0 with Jaxon Bartkowicz scoring 4 passing and 1 rushing touchdown—wins by Alexandria, ROCORI, Becker, Eden-Valley-Watkins, Holy Family, Annandale, Foley and Litchfield rounded out a busy day in prep football.
