- ➤ This weekend, the Rivers Edge Convention Center in downtown St. Cloud will host Dinosaur Adventure—an interactive event featuring dancing dinosaurs, bounce houses, and rideable exhibits for families. Event hours are Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the national touring show comes from Shoreview. WJON
- ➤ Webster is a lively 2.5 year old Labrador mix at TriCounty Humane Society in St. Cloud waiting for a loving home and enjoys playing and cuddling. - ➤ St. Cloud Metro Vets will host two Veterans Day events next month. The 19th annual parade will take place on November 8th at 11:00 a.m. in downtown St. Cloud, following 9th Avenue North to end near 5th Avenue and River’s Edge Convention Center — a ceremony will be held on November 11th at 1:30 p.m. at the VA Medical Center on 4801 Veterans Drive. - ➤ Walmart announced its annual Thanksgiving meal offer is now available in Minnesota, featuring a basket that feeds 10 people for under $40 with a Butterball turkey at $0.97 per pound — the deal is available for online orders and in-store pickup with free express delivery for first-time customers until December 25. - ➤ St. Cloud Metro Bus driver David Peacock was named Minnesota Bus Operator of the Year at the 2025 Minnesota Public Transit Association Conference. The 24-year veteran, known for his safe service on the Dial-a-Ride route, earned top finishes in local, state, and national bus roadeos—an honor that underscores his dedication. KNSI
- ➤ Representatives from American RX Group and the City of Sauk Rapids held a ribbon cutting on Monday at the government center to unveil two new medication drop boxes—one for sharps and one for prescriptions. The automated system alerts police when a box reaches 40 pounds so officers can safely remove and ship it for incineration. KNSI

- ➤ Sartell-St. Stephen High School student Kylie Hedtke won the 11th-grade division of the Miss Dance Team Minnesota contest on Sunday and will join Team Minnesota for the national competition in California this March. She beat more than 50 dancers and practiced three hours a week to deliver one of her best performances. WJON
- ➤ The St. Johns football team remains in playoff contention at 6—1 after a 49—10 win over Carleton last Saturday, and they will face Gustavus on November 1, St. Scholastica on November 8 and St. Olaf on November 15 as they aim to finish 9—1. Coach Gary Fasching expressed concern about strong Wisconsin teams as his squad works toward a playoff berth. WJON
