- ➤ St. Marcus Catholic Church in Clear Lake will hold a Mass at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 9, to honor 91-year-old Douglas Goenner, a longtime farmer and community pillar who died peacefully at St. Cloud Hospital on March 4 (visitation starts one hour before service). WJON
- ➤ St. Cloud Area Family YMCA hosts the First Steps Baby Expo today from 8:00 a.m. to noon at its new space, offering interactive exhibits and services for expectant and new families — with kid activities, comfortable areas, and freebies— while $10 adult tickets support YMCA membership. KNSI

- ➤ The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has set new fishing rules for Mille Lacs Lake open water season that let anglers keep three walleye daily. Fish must be at least 17 inches (with only one over 20 inches) and the rule runs from May 9 to November 30. WJON
